Who We Are
Kavalcıoğlu Global Enerji makes strategic investments in the Turkish and global free electricity markets and delivers end-to-end services for integrated waste and energy facilities. Based in Ankara, we run feasibility and consulting, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), installation and site operation under one roof.
We were founded to reduce the environmental burden of municipal dump sites and to return problem areas to the community. We convert uncontrolled dumps into sanitary landfills; we design, build and operate lot construction, site rehabilitation, landfill-gas (methane) power plants, mechanical sorting, composting and biomethanisation lines with technology matched to the waste characterisation. Waste is not only disposed of — it is recovered and turned into energy.
Our work does not stop at the drawing board. From capacity calculations, layout and landfill-gas forecasts to construction; from gas collection and treatment to the power plant; and through operation, maintenance and official procedures, we stay on site. We support investors through licensing with EMRA (EPDK), the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change and other authorities, and we aim to raise both the environmental and economic performance of plants through international carbon certification and hybrid solar.
We have applied the same integrated approach at sanitary-landfill, power-generation and integrated-facility projects in many provinces of Turkey. The activity list below is the field counterpart of that experience.
